
Pete is board certified by the
State Bar of Texas Board of Legal Specialization in both Civil
Trial law and Personal Injury Trial law. Of the over 55,000
Texas lawyers, less than
550 or (1%) are board certified in both of these areas of trial
specialization. He is also board certified as a Civil Trial
Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and is rated
AV ( the highest rating given) by the one hundred (100) year old
Martindale-Hubble directory that rates American lawyers. The
firm he formed with his wife Patrice is listed in the Bar
Register of Preeminent Lawyers in America published by
Martindale-Hubble. Pete has twenty-eight (28)
years experience trying a variety of cases ranging from
personal injury and wrongful death actions to business
disputes between individuals and corporations. For the past
several years, he has spent a significant percentage of his
time representing injured railroad workers in FELA actions.
Pete was raised in a working
class family; his first paying job was as a busboy at age twelve
(12) years. He understands the everyday problems the injured
worker faces, and he is proud to represent hard working union
members and their families.
In the fall of 2005, H Texas
Magazine, delivered nearly 10,000 ballots to the lawyers in the
Houston area. They asked them to vote for one of their
colleagues that they have seen in action. Readers of H Texas
Magazine were also invited to participate. Votes were counted
and credentials were verified with the State Bar of Texas.
Pete was named to H Texas Magazine's Best Lawyers for the

Patrice
grew up on a farm in
West Texas and drove a John Deere tractor until she was 18
years old. She understands and appreciates the value of hard
work, dedication, and perseverance. Patrice has an M.A. in
English, an M.S. in Sports Health, and a J.D. in law. She has
diverse professional experience as a former English teacher
and university instructor, and she is very well-respected in
her community. She has been a member of Leadership Houston,
Leadership Texas, and Leadership America.
With her varied educational
training and employment background, Patrice brings a unique
perspective to the trial team. As a teacher, she knows the
value of developing and utilizing appropriate demonstrative
evidence and aids to convince a jury to do the right thing.
Her experience in the Sports Health field helps her understand
and thereby better present the medical aspects of the injured
worker’s case.
Patrice brings her experience,
knowledge, drive, and dedication to every client’s case, and she

Mr. Stanley W. Crawford was born in Lockhart, Texas in 1943
and was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1967 after graduating
with honors from The University of Texas Law School where
he served as associate editor of the Law Review. In 1992,
he was admitted to the Colorado State Bar.
Mr. Crawford was admitted to practice
in the U.S. District Courts of Southern, Northern, Eastern
and Western Texas, the U.S. District Courts of Colorado, and
the Western District of Louisiana as well as the Fifth, Tenth
and Eleventh U.S. Courts of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.
He was a member of the American, Texas and Houston Bar Associations,
the American Board of Trial Advocates and was a Fellow of
the Texas and Houston Bar Associations. He served as a Director
of the Texas Trial Lawyer's Association from 1977-1990 and
was certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board
of Legal Specialization.
After practicing law in Houston for
almost thirty years, Mr. Crawford established a reputation
as an outstanding personal injury trial lawyer and advocate
for his clients. His reputation for honesty and integrity
is unparalleled in the legal community, and his years of service
to professional organizations demonstrate his desire to promote
the legal profession and serve as a mentor to young lawyers.
